purpose
Sodium bromide, together with sodium chloride, calcium bromide and zinc bromide, is used as well completion and workover fluids. Its main advantage is that it can be used in formations containing carbonate or sulfate ions to complete workover operations.

Packaging and storage
Solids are packed in 25 kg composite plastic woven bags or tons of bags.
The liquid is packed in 55 USG polyethylene barrels or 1000 liters IBC.
